Texas, Dee-Eff-Dubya area. We used to require two windshield stickers from the state, heaven help you if you need a toll tag and/or college/work/housing require parking stickers on top of that. We are a sticker happy lot around here.

You have my sympathies. I live here and I don't like driving into Dallas proper. I used to live in Houston. I understand the madness of Houston, their kind of crazy had a pattern to it. There were rules to the game, and it mostly centered around the idea that the newer nicer cars shouldn't fuck with the dented up beaters.

Dallas is just slightly different, like madness plus arrogance equals batshit rage. There are no rules, just survival.

Not good. Pissed away 4 hours on inspection/license for my truck and wife's car. Did my kid's car last month. Done with that shit for a minute. On the bright side, I put license plates on my shop walls and I got 4 more today since we got new plates.

I repaint junky furniture, listen to music and spit. Neighbors stop by and hang out quite a bit.

Pretty much. I repainted the inside last year and some nights I would stay out there till midnight.
