Dude, you don't know how bad I wish we could move out there permanently! After Chista showed the wife and I that condo rental down on the lake in Lago Vista we were ready to head for the border right then and there!!!!!!

All the meets and parties I see on here do not help one bit! I just feel like besides all the ties we have here, our age and tenure at our jobs would make the prospect not only scary but potentially a huge mistake. The only way we see it being a possibility is if our work would be willing to let us transfer.

Now, that doesn't mean we will never see Texas or any of you all. The wife and I actually talk about it frequently. We are thinking 10 days minimum, flying out and staying for 3 days at 3 different locations to try to spend time with as many people as possible. At least those are our initial plans when we discuss it. It will have to be when it is cooler there too. So think winter.

I've been eating tasty animals my whole life :hungry:

I am a type of "tarian" but I can't say it here. It's too crude.

:facepalm:NO! MENTAL PICTURE IS BAD ENOUGH! Haha... Not too far from the truth. I am trying to instill the same knife ethics in my Son. He's coming along. Even carries a knife to church. You know, in case things get crazy in the worship service.:rofl:

Sounds awesome man, and totally understand life, jobs etc. I’m sure we can all get together when it gets closer to that time. Now don’t laugh at all of us when it’s 50 out and we have jackets on...

I like "tarian" into the animal meat also. Everything is better with bacon and there is no such thing as extra bacon .... it's just more bacon.
