Went to the game last night. Was excited that we wore the Stadium unis again. I wore my new jersey, which was cool. Unfortunately it was like the Stadium Series all over again. Have a lead, blow it at the end of the 3rd and then lose in OT. That is rough. Perhaps we need to retire those unis or at least not wear them against Philly again lol. I was hoping to keep them in the rotation, since they look badass but seems like bad luck.

 

Elias Pettersson just passed Pavel Bure for most points as a rookie on the Canucks

Bure missed some of that rookie season though, correct? So while it is cool, Bure > Pettersson, I think. I like Boeser better also, but Elias can play, for sure.

 

Also, not trolling or hating but just pointing some things out. A lot of hype on TB as there should be. But honestly who cares about regular season? History has proven that teams don't really even care about regular season and their true identity shows once playoff time comes. Only a handful of times has the President's trophy winner, also won the Cup. So just something to keep in mind for TB fanboys.

Also, I'm noticing a pattern of McDavid stat-padding once it is garbage time and his team is out. Time to play pick-up hockey and try to save face, I guess.

 

Get to the playoffs and everyone is 0-0-0.
