Looks great! Did you have rubbing issues pre-lift with the 265/75/16s on the Ray 10s (i assume -12mm offset)? This is what Im wanting to run with, but not looking to lift yet and would prefer not to cut into the truck.

I did have mild rubbing when entering a drive way or in reverse. Heat gun helped. They are the -12 offset.

I know it’s a little late but here’s mine. Running the Eibach Pro Truck Leveling Kit (2” in the front 1” in the back) with 265/75/16 Falken Wildpeaks. Looks better, more capable and gas mileage is only about 1 mpg lower (that includes steel skid plates).D1BAD0CE-8CDF-4075-91F6-2022739A34CA.jpg503320CB-A58C-43DD-AED5-E1F80C24F8EE.jpg

I just got these on, Wildpeaks, and it's a huge difference from the OEM sized tires I had. Other than the obvious stuff like drop in MPG, odo being off etc is there any negatives about running a larger tire? I'm thinking stress on the suspension or tranny?

I need some help guys. I have some 16" Glossy black TRD pro wheels coming in today. I have a stock Off Road long bed with mud flaps. Will I have any rubbing issues with these tires? Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 265/75R16 116T

Will I need to take off the flaps, trim or heat gun anything?

I have 265/75/16 same tires with a 2” Leveling Kit and I swear I can feel something rubbing when I’m making a hard turn, I think it just barely rubs the mud flaps. Not 100% positive and not a problem really. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Wanted to share my set up in hopes that it would answer some of the questions on here. This is my 2016 Tacoma SR5 V6 2WD (yess...2WD :/). I am on the stock suspension, no lift or level kit. I am running Falken wildpeaks 265/75/16 (p rated) on Vision 398 manx matte black 16x8, 4.5 backspace, 0mm offset. Calipers cleared fine, as I had previously reached out to vision to confirm. Truck Bore size is 106.1 and my aftermarket wheels had a bore size of 110, so I am running hub centric rings to fill in that gap. I did not have vibrations at high speeds without the rings, but I installed them for peace of mind and to take pressure off the lugs.

I do not have any rubbing when my wheels are fully turned out to the left and right going forward or reverse (see last two photos). Have done plenty of sharp u-turns recently and have not heard any rubbing. However, when I hit a steep dip on the road, I think my front spoiler (the black guard below my front bumper) touches my tire. Not really a big deal but just something I noticed. Additionally, I do not run mud flaps.

MPG has definitely dropped, but worth it for the aggressive look. Still drives as smooth as when I had my stock tires and wheels. Love my taco! Looks so much better with wheels and TRD PRO grille. For reference, I paid $1,100 OTD for tires, wheels, aftermarket centering lugs, balancing, installation, and sensor swap.

265/75/16 Ko2 e rated at 32 psi. Mpg is pretty impressive considering the tire is 54lbs and 1” taller. Speedo not corrected so I could be getting in the low 10’s. So 22.5 US mpg on a new motor and 6 speed manual. Love the K02’s. Had great success with 37” KM’s on my JK too.

Very good looking truck. I just bought vision turbine 16x8 with 0 offset wheels. Backspacing is just like yours. And i got 265x75x16's. My truck is 2018 SR accesses cab 2WD... just like yours. Sometimes next week I am gonna try to take off from work and get it install.
Did you had any problems with TPMS?
Where did you get the grill and how much?
Are you ok with the looks or do you think truck could use mild lift?

Hey @kcChiefs! Thanks! I did not have any problems with my TPMS. The shop I went to moved them over from the stock wheels to the aftermarket, and I have not had any problems. Tire pressure shows up correctly on my odometer screen. I purchased my grille from @FreshMexicanTaco at his site - highly recommended, great pricing, excellent packaging and quick shipping. Comes ready to install with the letters already put together. Really high quality. I did not want to purchase from ebay because the descriptions were super generic and the ebay sellers never really answered the questions I had asked. Here is a thread for the grilles he sells and it's filled with lots of great reviews (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...es-local-san-diego-pickup-shipped-140.554247/).

I am very happy with the way my truck looks. I want to keep it as close as possible to OEM but also give it an aggressive look. The tires added about an inch in height to my truck. I ride motocross, so it's still pretty easy to load up my dirt bike. If I had a lift, I think would be more difficult and annoying to load up haha
