Oh that sounds like fun I hope it works out for you. Our camping may get completely squashed this year. I have an interview Tuesday in F'burg at Carmax. The job will be evening shift so no taking off on a Friday end getting out for a couple nights. We'll see though

Good luck brother. Surely they'll give you a weekend (Saturday-monday) so that we can get camping

IDK keeping my fingers crossed. I'm happy with everything i have done to the camper so far this year the only thing i have left is boxing part of the frame. I'm still not 100% sure about these wheel adapters. When the bumper goes on next week I may have to just take for a couple drives to see how it does. I'm hoping :fingerscrossed: even with the 4" drop when the new bumper goes on the camper sits either level or a touch high in the front. I'm doing the rear suspension onthe truck also so it shouldn't drop anymore with 700# springs even with the extra weight on the rear

The adapters should work until you can get the six lug hubs.

My trailer sits level with a 5 1/2" drop hitch.

Our campers are so different it will be interesting to see just how it works. People drive around with these hub adapters all the time, I know, I think i may swap the hubs when i can though just for peace of mind if nothing else.

Pics just cause I wanted to

Well it was that experience with our trip up and ripping the stabalizer off and almost oosing the hitch pin that really spurred me onward with fitting these bigger wheels and tires so i have some more clearance. It'll all work out it's just part of the process

On a handy note the wheels and tires from the camper will swap right over to the utillity trailer they're the same size and I am sure the same lug pattern

Good luck with the Interview. Crystal worked at the one in Bmore before we moved here when she transferred. The one here she didn't like. Hopefully Fburg location is good.

What brand of axle is under there? if a Dexter, have a new one built with more downward angle. I was going to do this with one of mine. Checked into it, and for less than $300. A new axle with what I wanted in it. Same dimensions, mounting points and all.

All Dexter axles have a serial # engraved into the cross bar. That # has all info about the axle. With that number.. you could build another one with changes, so that it still matches up (length, width, mounting and so on).

    Just a thought.

    Or buy one.
