What is the biggest tire and rim combo i can run on my 1998 Toyota tacoma ext cab with a 3"lift

I am curious on what is the ideal rim size to run with my truck. I would like to run 17" rim x 10" with a -45 offset. With 33" x 11.50 tires. Will this work without chopping the cab mount?

 

I have a 98 ext cab 4x4 with a 3" level spacers with 17"x9" wheels on 33"x11.5" tires. Not sure of the spacing but they are the Moto Metal 951 and I've cut the inner plastics and bent the pinch welds and they still rub. Looks like the tires even rub on the frame.

No problem. I really wanted the new stock 16" TRD Off Road wheels. Maybe 33's won't rub as much or at all since those wheels aren't that wide.

 

I was actually thinking of those before i bought my Mickey thompsons. My only regret was not buying the 10" wide rims. Because i was thinking short term not long term

 

You won't have to chop the cab mount with those wheels/tires, but you'll definitely have some trimming and clearancing to do with the pinch weld and fender flares since you'll have significantly less backspacing than stock.
