really you should get the JBA STD UCAs as they for lifted and modified tacos. You can easily achieve 2.8 caster with an alignment shop that knows what theyre doing.

    My shocks?
I run @Radflo Shocks 2.5 extended travel coilovers. The inherent problem of getting 2 inches of lift with none extended travel shocks is the higher chance of topping them out. Regardless, .8” of down travel is very bad. IMHO you want a minimum of 30-40% of total suspension travel to be down travel. This will change depending on what you drive on, but it is a good starting point.

Right, the .8" really does suck and I don't want to explode the shocks... haha. So yeah my goal is to lower down to 2" but the UCA's are stopping me, so I need to do both at once.

They have a set for oem rides and a set for lifted, the std is for the lifted.

If you look at the JBA website there’s 3 to choose from OEM, STD, and HD.

I have HD. That stands for heavy duty. Thicker arms and they are gusseted. Basically, if you plan on jumping your vehicle you want hd for sure. Or, in my case I just wanted a little beefier to be safe.

Sounds like you have caster in the wrong direction, your wheels should be further away from the cab. With the right kind of caster, cant remember if its positive or negative but that sounds like the problem with the steering at least

Well they had to push the lower ball joint back to lower the caster. Previously it was 5.5 degrees and was just horrible.

New numbers. Caster is better, but still couldn’t get it to 3*.

They could have if they changed your camber closer to 0....

Which model do you recommend for 2"-2.5" of lift? I think I'm going to go with JBA over the SPC but I'm not sure if I need the "stock" model for minimal lift or the "STD High Caster"? Also will the backspacing on SCS Ray10 wheels be able to accommodate 33" tires? I saw that they only recommend 31.8" max. I will be installing the King OEM Coilovers EXT Travel.

Bilstein 5100 OME 888 & 5160 with AAL, SCS F5, Yokohama GEOLANDERS, morimoto hid and led fogs. Clazzio leather seat covers, ECGS bushing, TRD PRO Grill, Hondo Mount, Martin rack, Baja designs. Caliraised, Ov Tuned
Installed Standard JBA arms this past weekend. Have Bilstein 5100 with OME 888. And to get my alignment redone and the caster read 4.7 and 4.9... camber was at 0.2. Toe had to really be adjusted. We left the caster the way it was since my tire is slightly rubbing the cab.

    Planning on cutting.

However isn’t that an insane amount of caster? I think I’m feeling the shopping cart phenomenon, however I didn’t feel that right after the install. Only thing we messed with was the toe on the alignment.

I am very interested in these UCA. I ONLY WANT A 2 1/2 INCHE LIFT so I think these will do the trick. Do they still come with the Toyota Oem bushings? I don't want to deil with the squeaking you get with the poly bushings . If they still come with the Oem bushings then I'm in . I like everything I have heard about these UCA !
