This southern boy was bass fishing from the bank, and was doing well, until he ran out of bait. He was getting ready pack it up, when he saw a ripple in the grass, after a second glance , he saw it was a cotton mouth snake with a frog in it's mouth. Well, he knew that frogs were good bass bait, and that with a frog in his mouth, that snake couldn't bite him. When it got close enough , he grabbed it behind the head and holding it over the bait bucket ,he squeezed it until he dropped the frog. As the frog hit the bottom of the bucket ,he realized he really didn't have a release plan for the snake in his hand. Just then the light bulb came on and he pulled out his flask of Jack Daniels and dripped a few drops down the snakes throat. Still wiggling, he put a few more drops in. Still lively, he tossed a good splash down. The snakes eyes rolled back in his head, and his body went limp. He gave the snake a toss in the direction it was headed and started to cut bait. After the third cast, he felt a nudge at his boot. It was the cotton mouth with two frogs in it's mouth.
