With my set up, think I will try 91 performance first. Don't always have 93. Have 4.88's, 285 75 17, CAI, Magnaflow, 6" lift.

Alright guys, I couldn't wait. Especially after seeing Mat's dyno testing after switching to the newest TSB.....so I downloaded techstream tonight and it all went well. I didn't install the MVCI driver since I'm using the supplied tactrix cable. Anywho, I've found CUW files and from what I've read 34-18 would be correct for my 2017 Auto? I'm just trying to clarify because the date that the user posted that CUW info, was in August 2018 and Im unsure if that's the newest one. I'm currently 04b02, and would like to get to 04b04 so I can flash performance tune.

On another note, I'm currently 1.05 base 87. Could I just do the TSB update and immediately do the performance flash?

Thank you in advance. I just finished working over 60 hrs so far this week, and I've got another 60 to go...so if theres typos, or grammatical error, please forgive.

It’s touchy. Can’t imagine it being desirable in a technical situation.

Feet. One on the brake and one on the gas when necessary for precision.

Man, I flashed with 87 Gearlock just about 300miles ago. Im wondering, is this performance with gearlock or base MPG with gearlock? I am getting better MPGs than with performance, but its not as "light" as performance. Also, does anyone else still have the crazy idling? My truck has been going from 500rpm to 1000rpm and back and so forth.

At the dealership RIGHT NOW trying to get the TSB done to upgrade my ECU to 04B04. I wonder if they'll give me a hard time due to my intake.

Techstream won't let you upload incorrect file. And you can flash OVtune immediately after TSB.

My idle is smooth with Performance 87. First I've heard of idle problems with any of the new tunes. You should open a trouble ticket if you haven't already.

If they don't do it for you many have done it free with Techstream.

Man getting Teschstream is kicking my butt. So I was able to copy and replace that. Everything else is complete per instructions. When I try and open Teschstream desktop app it takes me to area location and then a configuration screen instead of the techstream interface. Not sure what I did now. Thanks again for the guidance!

I’ve flashed 87 GL and do have the idle rpm surging. It only happens on a cold start when D or R is selected and then only for a couple of seconds. Once The truck gets moving it’s gone.

Mat advised that the idle surging is a stock issue with cold start idle points and that the 1.05 idle adjustments help in that area.

You just have to fill that stuff out with made up information. Just initial setup for the software. Then after you get it open, you will need to register using the code in the notepad file that came in the down load and do the VIM select for the Tactrix cable.

I don't recall the exact things you have to click to get to these, maybe some one else can chime in.

Does it do this crazy idling after the truck is warmed up too?
