Tips on replacement headlights and fog lights

Headlights
The headlights in my 2010 base DCLB are starting to haze pretty badly and the passenger side has a crack that is letting moisture in. I'm looking at swapping them out but would love any tips. I'd like to keep it looking fairly "stock" (I have done a few things to bring the truck more in line with the SR5 trimline). Since I'm having a hard time getting my hands on a set of headlights here on TW, I'm looking at Ebay and some other online sellers. Should I stick with OEM or is there an aftermarket option/seller that fits the bill?

Foglights
I don't currently have foglights installed, but I'm seeing the wiring harness in place. In my continued attempt to make my base into an SR5, I'd love to add them. Like my headlight question...should I stick with OEM or is it ok to go aftermarket? I'm seeing a few of the other threads re: foglight installation in the forums, but it looks like those all deal with needing to install the wiring as well. Any tips to note since I've already got the wiring?

They fit perfectly, and I’m happy with them. I went it’s the black bezel.

 

I would stay with OEM for the headlights. A/m brands look like a good deal but they can leak and fit poorly.

Fogs can be whatever..

 

That's what I've been reading. I'm currently in the position of planning on OEM unless someone can convince me otherwise. Thanks!

 

If you can afford it, go OEM.

 

I put aftermarket on due to the hazing. I re-sealed them as suggested but after about 6 months they've both started to leak!
So I'd suggest OEM. I'm looking to attempt a "headlight restoration" on my old ones, luckily I kept them around!

 

I just finally finished a full retro fit from Retrofit source, then picked up the drop in replacement Morimoto LED projector fogs also from retrofit. I know you note your looking for stock look but I seriously couldn’t be happier. Light performance is phenomenal and the lights off look is fantastic also with the blacked out inners.

There’s a whole thread about fog lights on here by crashnburn80 on here if you search his name. I’m getting the KC gravity G4 lights that look stock but way outperform. There’s also part numbers floating around for OEM headlights and just keep an eye out for a good deal on all the online retailers. I’ve been searching for a good price on factory BHLM from the TRD Pro personally.

Please note that the above thread is for DOT compliant LED Fog Light Pods. There are other excellent LED fogs out there, but they are not DOT compliant and thus should not be run on the road. Generally speaking, running a non compliant light will cause serious problems for oncoming drivers.
