That’s literally my only reasoning lmao. I know the 500exc is better. Or go balls out and get a husky 701. But I’ve been waiting for a Honda supermoto since I was a kid...the XR650L was junk (the liquid cooled XT650R is amazing tho) and the CRF250L was disappointing. When they announced the 450L, I was super excited. I’m just a Honda fanboy and always wanted a Honda supermoto

 

I had a meguira hydraulic clutch on one of my race bikes and it’s tits for sure. I wanna add one to my current race bike because it helps with fatigue so damn much. And as far as brembos go...I’ve honestly never had an issue with my nissan brakes. Honda’s front brakes are actually really damn good compared to others. But yea, they being said, I’m with you on the KTM being a better bike.

Come make me a offer on this 4wd. 112k miles. Rusted & ruptured brake line and needs tlc because it's been sitting for 5 years. I have the title & lein release. I don't have time to wrench on this, I'm concentrating on my Landcruiser project.

 

Honda is all I ever owned, mostly cr500's and 4wd quads. I love my honda pioneer 1000 sxs. I still have a 2011 rancher 4x4 that hasn't even had a hiccup since I bought it new 8 years ago.
I've always been like you a honda fanboy but hose ktm's are bad ass. I've also looked at the ktm 690 Enduro, Ridersville has some 18 leftovers for $8500 but everywhere I read online everyone is talking positive about the 500exc.

 

My folks bought their Mule from Ridersville. Well worth the drive.

 

Also had my share of Honda's, but I'm partial to Jap stuff.

 

Me too, a ktm is definitely out of the norm for me.

 

I have a set of stock leafs with the AAL already installed. I'd be willing to let them go for a hand shake just to get them off of my garage floor. I'm about 45 minutes south of you in Huntingtown. I'll even throw in some stock mud flaps if you want them.

Yes single AAL. I ran with them for a little over a year. I put a steel rear bumper on and decided to install Dakar Medium Duty to help get my lift back. With just the AAL on stock leafs I gained about 1.75" of lift over stock.

 

That's awesome man, i'll gladly take them off your hands. Should save me a few bucks at least until I do the same and add some weight
