I have a TRD Pro Grill (Aftermarket) based out of Brooklyn, NY.

Which is one of those knockoff 140 dollar ones. It is mounted, and looks great. However, on my Gen 3 Tacoma TRD Offroad it won’t work after I put the garnish on. I bought one of those non-OEM garnishes. Some say it works, others differ.

How can I FIX/recalibrate it or where can I bring it to be recalibrated to work again? It is annoying that it doesn’t work anymore. The TSS sensor always says dirty, and the light comes on where I can never engage the cruise control because of this.

OEM garnish. I got that light two times, but only came on for about 15 to 20 seconds and never seen it since. Get the OEM garnish and drive it some. I got it with OEM grill and garnish.

How many miles have you driven since the new grille? I have read that some people have to drive a few hundred miles before it corrects itself.

Will the OEM garnish fit on my non-OEM grill? I was trying to not spend 400 on the grill and have made mods and cuts to it.

How do I know if garnish is truly OEM online unless I buy from Toyota?

Also, a lot of people said they had the same problem as you and go away with non-OEM garnish.

Drive it some. I think I have put about 1200 miles on my truck since installation. Only way to be sure is get a garnish from Toyota.

Probably only about 2,000 miles. Still doesn't work. My question is can Toyota recalibrate it?

From what I’ve read, they charge an arm and a leg to recalibrate. Why don’t you try buying an OEM garnish? Should fit your non-OEM grille.
