Man you guys are giving this poor guy the run around. OP you should always measure from the center of the hub to the body panel to get your lift measurements. Also this is a very common and known issue. Install this on top of your driver side front strut. That is the only way you will remedy this issue.

Huh? Yes, pointing someone in a direction to throw money at a problem on a different part of the truck is the right answer.

We did mention the measurement location and the front strut spacer won't help if your "lean" is only found at the back of the truck where the leaf (nothing to do with the coil) supports the weight of the truck. His issue is with leafs not supporting equal weight.

As someone who has dealt with this on three Tacoma's the front strut does in fact control this issue though you see it in the rear. I am not going to argue a point that everyone who has dealt with this issue has figured out. Adding the spacer to the front drivers shock tower loads the suspension and takes the load and equals the truck out. It is not throwing money at it, it is in fact spending $10 on the correct solution while you all who do not understand this have the poor man chasing his tail.

What size and tire rating? I run 265/70/17 Toyo open country at2 SL rated. I think the c rated or even e would be a lot worse

Just been there before. My military background does not play into this equation but you seem to have a very army point of view. Remember when things get though you boys normally call us so perhaps we should take this one from here.

Look, I know it sounds crazy that by adding a spacer to the front you will equal out the truck but it works. Toyota actually runs a heaver spring on the drivers front to combat this from the factory to compensate for the battery and fuel tank. When you swap that out with a spring that is the same rate as the passenger side it carries over to the rear. I did the same thing, front was level and I could not wrap my head around adding a spacer to the front where I did not have an issue but I finally listened and added the spacer and it brought the rear up. and somehow the front even remained correct. It has to do with the way it loads the suspension. I am not trying to sound like a dick or be an asshole but that is how you fix this problem.

Furthermore it does not affect all trucks the same. Some do not need it but others do. My last Tacoma was off by about an inch in the rear when my 07 only needed the OME trim packer on the bottom of the OME spring perch. Each truck seems to be different and that is why so many get the run around on fixing it.

The shop in my area who is very well respected did my lift with 5100s, 1/4 shim an the ECGS clamshell bushing. The did a one inch block and it fixed my taco lean, rides great and no vibrations what so ever. Their words exactly " our trucks don't vibrate". I was happy with their advice and the advice you the OP are receiving here. Good luck!

Of course I forgot to measure before hand. That’s what I was thinking as well, maybe they moved? Not sure

Just swapped the front struts hoping that would do something, but still the same. I’m going to order that spacer and hope that solves it

Did anyone mention that the dust covers on the rear shocks slide around on the shock body by themselves? Don’t compare them for height.

Maybe Taco Lean was intentional - it’s to counteract the lean from the awesome torque of the engine! :)

Another thing that may effect your suspension height is whether you torque to spec before or after you drop the suspension down on all four wheels.
