Unlike most people here, the thought of buying tires for a vehicle makes me cringe.

Agreed. I normally run on just the wheel, no tires.

I kidnap Somali pirates and ransom them to container ship captains. Then use the revenue to make a pay phone call to my wife to beg for some commissary money to buy chips, soup and hygiene from the prison store that I redistribute to drug dealers at considerable markup. Lastly I extort the other cons running their own hustles. After taxes this nets excellent profits.

When I was in....if you divided the amount of hours by the pay....it’d amount to only a couple bucks per hour lol

When are you headed out of the country again? :D

Kids are grown and gone. Well, not really gone but I am not financing them anymore. Worked my way up via promotions so make decent money. I have a base amount of my check that goes tot he family account for bills. Everything above and beyond that is my play money. So OT, holiday pay, side jobs = more mods, more skydiving, more guns, etc. So during slow periods where not much extra is going on, my savings slowly builds until I can pay cash for what I want. Should be paying the credit cards off left behind from my son's racing career, but Daddy wants stuff too.

I wasn't sure if it was that, or if PT meant physical therapist.....I see now it's part time

Mine's more like "wife who tolerates my truck addiction". Supportive is a stretch.

I, too, am a part time escort. With funds from that, I've managed to plastidip my grille emblem.

I'm on the no kids bandwagon as well, any excess money I have can be spent on my hobbies.
