Question: Is there actually some sprayed-on texture on the lower portion of the door/body panel before it is painted, or is Toyota's orange peel from their painting robots sometimes that serious?

Chip protection spray goes on before paint on the lower rocker panel area, a good thing.

Super excited...Ordered rock sliders for my baby today! Went with RSG Metalworks. I must say...awesome service so far. Answered all my questions & got back to me immediately unlike some of their competitors! Also gave me a code for $100 off. I was told I can share....”March100”. Can’t wait for the install. Stay tuned for some pics

Should I debadge it altogether or black all the badges out?

Nice. I'm going to check out Big Bend next in my Cement OR too. Any recommended off-road trails?

Old Ore Road is supposed to be pretty good. Unfortunately I didn't have much time on this trip so I did not get on any trails.

Lift is Fox 3" ultimate lift kit. Happy with the suspension, very smooth during daily driving and very capable off road. Front end dropped about 1/2-3/4 inch after settling for 2 months followed by added weight with SSO Hybrid bumper & WARN wench. May eventually add stiffer coil springs or just add coilover spacer to get the 3/4" back but I'm not in a hurry since it rides so nice right now.
