My battery just went out I have a sound system pulling a lot of power. What would be the best battery? The optima yellow top?

Thw battery is not the only consideration. Without a high output alternator, you will just kill the new battery. You can also kill your current alternator.

Yes.... A yellow top would be a good choice.

Get your Alternator checked to make sure its working properly first.

I put a Sears Diehard Platinum dual terminal in mine, but had to extend one of the leads coming off the fuse box for the stock connectors to fit. It was easy, the worst part was getting the top portion of the fuse box off so I could get access to where the lead hooked in.

The stock connections go on the side terminals, the stereo ones go on the top.

that's not really alot of power. i ran more power than that on my stock battery, but changed mine out to a yellow top.
