I have been unknowingly *cough* driving with my plate obscured by my spare that I JUST put on there for about a year.

 

They currently are not completely covered with the rack. But I have been looking at those high clearance bumpers with the hidden hitch

Renton cops have bigger fish to fry. Kirkland cops are the worst. I was pulled over, had back up called in and ticketed for "failure to yield" when a white-girl-wasted chick jaywalked(ran) across the street. Guy was a total dick too. Literally threw my military ID back at me like a playing card. Fuck that guy.

 

Sounds like the cops in VA. One time I got pulled over for my registration and the guy took out a tape measure and wrote me a ticket for bumper height, tint, noise, exhaust, no mudflaps, tire width and tabs. $480 at the end of the day and he made me late for work. Dude was a complete asshole the entire time too. Tax collectors with badges are like 25% of the reason I moved out here. Glad theres so much crime and drugs here so the cops are too busy to fuck with random people. Most of them seem nice tho, I haven't met a cop in SEA yet that was shitty.

 

Drive a nice (city boy) car through a small town in Eastern Washington if you miss that kind of treatment. All my biggest tickets have been bored small town cops with nothing better to do but pull over west siders passing through.

 

Sounds like Enumclaw, got backup called on me for a seatbelt ticket.

Also got surrounded by 3 squad cars one night on my way home from work because I pulled over by a park to send a text to someone I was headed to meet..... truck still running, seatbelt still on, phone in hand, they surrounded me and told me they should arrest me for trespassing.

As far as cops go out here the only ones I don’t like are WSP. Real dick heads.

 

Ft Lewis MP’s don’t even do traffic stops or go to calls lol they ignore their radio until dispatch calls on the next guy.

 

too true, plus they know that you will probably pay the ticket rather than traveling all the way back over to fight it in court. do not speed in or near ellensburg btw..
