The 4wd computer has 2 plugs(one for dash lights, switch, power, and the other goes to engine bay) they you have one plug on the tcase and one on the front add. So 4 total plugs. Shound have a pic of the wiring in my build thread.

Nice job! Putting together the parts list to convert mine. Going the FJ T-case route though...I just prefer a manual case.

Manual case would substantially cut down the amount of wiring required and maybe OP's initial headache. Pretty cool to see how feasible this swap is. I am contemplating it myself, would make for a fun weekend.

So far so good. Just normal maintenance, none issues.

I know it’s possible but couldn’t find anyone detailing their process of converting the A750 tailhousing from E to F, ie, not swapping the whole trans but rather just modify the output so an xfer case can be bolted on. Anyone?

From what I found, it’s easier to swap the whole trans since just the output wound mean disassembling the entire trans to get the tail shaft and output swapped

I did this on the A340. I think the process is roughly the same. I bought the "F" version of the output shaft and tailhousing. Then I pulled the transmission and dropped it off at a reputable transmission shop with the parts. They charged me $250 to swap the output shaft.

Nope. I didn’t have one when I had an auto. But I’ve since swapped to a manual.

the output shaft is longer from E to F
i added the inchworm spacer and cut the shaft to then add the rear tail from the "F" transmission for it work

    prerunner rear tail removed:

(2nd line to right is how much i cut off and was perfect for the t-case to slide over shaft and engage)

Shouldn’t your temps be better in 4LO than in 4HI.
