My manager had some tickets to a RHCP show a few years back and asked if anyone on my staff would like to go. I asked and everyone said no. I told her no takers but I'd love to go. I got the tickets and they were great seats in a loge box. My wife and I were enjoying the show and the band was into Kalifornication. Our box was the bottom one on the right. Suddenly a commotion and crash and a huge full cup of beer went over my head and down my back. A drunk chick stumbled and fell right into our box. Her other had to pick her up off the floor and carry her away. I dried off with napkins and asked my wife how I was going to explain the odor to the cops if I got pulled over on the way home . So that's what I'll always remember when I hear that song.

Wait....technically that wasn't your beer, it was hers.

 

At my first concert, iron maiden and scorpions. I got puked on from behind, all down my back. After getting as clean as I could someone threw a beer and guess who got tagged . I think I was 12.

 

I likey my beer. Someone else's beer on my head, not so much.

 

Borderlands knew what was up.

 

While we're on the subject, one of the first concerts I went to was in '71. (I think).
Allman Brothers opening for the Grateful Dead. RFK stadium on a blazing hot summer afternoon.

Between the heat, too much beer and dehydration, I passed out for awhile.

Woke up after sunset and the Grateful Dead were on the stage.
And I simply couldn't believe all the naked people dancing around.
Grateful Dead fans, ha. They're getting pretty old now.
