They were only meant to be used with Trucks that had the fuel injectors in the Throttle body. the spacer made more room for the Air and Fuel to Mix. other that that your doing nothing but wasting you money~

Throttle body spacers work if it's inline AFTER the fuel is introduced. That's the reasoning behind tall intakes on carbureted race motors. A taller intake gives higher horsepower. A shorter intake gives more torque.
That's why on carburetted drag cars there's usually a hole in the hood.
Of course, if this thing is working for you, then it works. Who am I to disagree?

 

yes but OUR Throttle Body is located BEFORE the fuel is injected. Making a throttle body spacer on OUR trucks USELESS.

 

That's the roundabout point I was trying to make, but I never really got there. So, according to what we know, it shouldn't work. But bumblebees shouldn't fly, so if somebody tells me it really woke their truck up, I'll smile and nod and be glad for them. I'm sure there's some silly something I believe works for me that nobody else has ever gotten any good out of.
I guess when I was getting 23mpg for a full year by putting acetone in my fuel I was just hallucinating. Maybe it was the acetone fumes.

 

I can't believe they still sell these things. Any place that sells them should be avoided.

Got one on mine w/ a kn fipk, next is headers and dual'd exhaust. Lookin to get a cool 26 mpg after all is done. Currently getting 20.8 mpg. Is that worth the $250 I paid for the kn fipk and the $100 I paid for the TB spacer? Eff yeah, I got a cool whistle rollin down the road that sounds like a turbo spoolin, It's frickin sweet. When I get the headers and the dual exhaust do I think that it is worth $1000. You'll find out when I pull ya out that ditch with a garden hose.

 

i installed a power aid TBS and.......no gains! like the sound it makes though!
