Guy I sold my old sandblast cabinet to had a cool cabover camper. He popped it open and let me stand inside, it’s surprisingly roomy. I’m 5’11” and I was able to stand with it popped open with a few inches of headroom.

$11k though.

Minifridge on the bumper is cool.

 

Chevies are plastic, so are Nissan, actually so is my cruiser

Taco is metal tho

Three different kinds of charcoal canisters, 95-97, 98-01, and 02-04. 95-97 is this metal can thing, 98-04 are the same plastic box, but 02-04 is under the bed.

 

Oh okay so plastic not necessarily less than oem per se

 

I won't forget this now

 

Nah, only holds like 5-6psi before safety venting. And plastic does just fine for as long as the element in the can will last anyway

 

Wish I had the 02-04 canister. Leaves so much room for activity.

 

Emissions

 

95-97 didn't have a pressure sensor to detect EVAP leaks. The new ones did and the 02-04 put it under the bed to reduce the number and length of fuel exposed vent lines

 

Pretty sure ours can only detect a malfunctioning vent valve. But some models with the metal can got a weird external pressure sensor, don't think any 95s did bit I could be wrong.

 

If you look up the code in fsm it will say the exact condition that happens for the code to be triggered. What was the code?

 

I used to build systems to render in solidworks adequately. If you ever want a CAD computer hit me up I have tons of spare parts

 

One of those Lenovo workstations I gave away looked like it was a render machine. Had dual CPU sockets and like 32 RAM slots.

 

Probably, workstations are usually meant for that sorta thing. SolidWorks leans super heavy on the processor for strength simulations but a ton of that can be offloaded to a good vector card that will do all those parallel processing events and take car of the live rendering too. Freeing up the CPU to take care of more tasks at hand, as SW is always doing shit in the background

Yea no Toyota decided to use pins you drive in with a hammer then stake. So you have to pull those out after removing the stake marks
