Found my 4X4 useless, never used it. More a PIA to remember to engage it from time to time to keep the gears wet.
Would much rather have 2X4 and not have to deal with the front angles, needle bearing/bushing, CVT angles and boots, extra drag on the engine and loss of MPG...etc. Mall never required 4X4. That's all I use it for. And to haul my ass to work...to pay the bills and taxes...

Had 4x4 Tundra when I lived in Indiana, where is snows.......a lot. Never did the off road thing.

Retired, moved to Florida, still wanted a truck, bought a 2WD Tacoma. Because? That's all I need as an old geezer.

Guess I should inspect mine. Although I just did my 30k service and found nothing other than the recall on the blower.

Why would you live in South Hampton County? Nothing but Rubes, Hicks, Rednecks, and Inbreds. Still flying the Confederate Flag?
Working at the paper mill in Franklin or driving a tractor?

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
There's only two things that come out of South Hampton County .... and I don't see no horns!

LOL thats not how it works bro. There's no conspiracy between dealers and toyota to fuck you out of warranty claims

So many people don't realize that dealerships are privately owned businesses totally separate from Toyota. They GET PAID to do warranty work, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot turning a blind eye to potential $.

There is absolutely NO REASON a service adviser would purposely overlook this, they GET PAID whenever they find things to fix covered under warranty. They LOVE it because there's no selling involved at all, the customer is guaranteed to say "yes" to the repair because Toyota will be picking up the bill, its easy money for the adviser makes absolutely no logical sense for them to avoid it.
