I had a place do it the does wraps for our company vehicles. I get a bubble in a window decal sometimes lol so wasn't comfortable doing the hood myself. For hood and tailgate materials and install was $212 which I felt was reasonable enough to let him do it. I thought about the roof as well and may do that in the future.

These pics make me glad I chose the truck that I did. Maybe when I figure out how to post pics I can play along.

Use to go by under that bridge 6 to 8 times a month back in the 90's when I worked on the Missouri river.

Yeah I worked on a towboat for Phoenix Towing out of East Carondelet, IL. and another towboat company that worked the Missouri. Cannot think of the name right now. Yeah Sioux City, Iowa was as far up the river as I went then we picked up barges and rearranged the tow all the way back to St. Louis.. No tugs on the Missouri so we had to tie off the tow and drop/pick up barges ourselves. Allot of work for sure.

Cool! Not too many boatmen left. Decent money doing that? I work for the RR out of KC. We hit all of the old river towns. Lots of the levees between Atchison and Omaha have or are failing as we speak. It seems like they need to widen the channel back up so the river can drain a little faster without saturating the levees.

Not to bad of pay until you stop and think you are working 6 hours on, 6 hours off, 7 days a week for 30 days straight. $185.00 a day was what I was getting running 1st Mate. You are away from home for 30 days. I was always sad leaving my truck parked at Economy Boat Store at Wood River, IL. Then when the boat store would bring fuel and groceries out to you midstream I would be sad looking up on the hill at my truck wishing I was getting off the boat to go home for a couple weeks.

You got me looking at towboats on the river now. LOL! (On Google image search)

I know the feeling. Not much worse than seeing you car in the depot parking lot after a 10 hr day then have the yard master tell you to stay with the train and deliver it. Can't imagine 30 days. 2-3 is enough for me.
