@Man of Steel TRD has a very nice one that he's just basically rebuilt, new turbos and all.

I like that gen too, but I had a hard time finding any that weren't dogged into the ground from years on neglect. Most people let them break because "they're too hard to maintain and repair". So it's hard to find a nice one. I like my gen too much, so much 80s and more than enough power for a GT car.

One of the first things automotive diagnostic programs teach you is to not assume correlation. Steers you off course

I can't do that in Igor at all. I don't think. Usually 280 range.

I wouldn't think that way. Bad injectors tend to make it run lean more than rich.

I think the motor in this gen is one of the best sounding v6s ever.

They are expensive to own I've read. Was one for sale up here for a long time in good shape. Was yellow though. Didn't love that and an auto.

MkIII supra is still my favorite

I like the MkIII, a 91 turbo model crossed the block at Mecum last weekend with 32k miles and brought 29k. Only three bidders. That's the most I've ever seen one of those bring, they usually don't break 15-18k.

The VG30DE does have a good sound. Actually most Nissan V6s do for some reason... Strange. They did make Japan's first mass produced v6 though, maybe they know what's up

Frank barely gets 180 a tank on the highway if it makes you feel better haha

So I tested the fuel pump power. Had Devin crank it. The battery is dead pretty much. Showed 8v though. Couldn't fully crank bit pump showed 4-5v and the plug. So looks like all this effort is for nothing pretty much. No idea what's causing this.

    Wow that's nuts.

I hope to have one again someday. Found a 91 with a 2jz in it I really wanted. But he decided to finish it up a bit more before selling. Interior was a bit taken apart.

Well what about spark or injection pulse. Have you check to see if you're getting either? Rent a noid light set for the injectors and you can do the spark visually

My averages for the last two years (i.e. non-stock) are:

    all-up: 15.78
    4WD: 13.95
    Highway: 16.75

Note that all these numbers are adjusted for accuracy - i.e. they compensate for the fact that the ODO/speedo don't read quite right. If I didn't adjust - i.e. if I just divided (ODO miles / gallons), they'd be ~8% higher.

Unadjusted, the ODO reading 300 on fumes sounds about right, with a very slight tailwind. With a headwind, no way. With a nice tailwind, might be able to get up to 330 after having the fuel light on for ~30 miles.

AC Delco doesn't actually make many Japanese suspension parts, looks like you got a 555 and a federal mogul

Just put the plenum back on tonight. Going to pull the motor in the next couple of days so I can replace the rear main seal and get to reassembling it and paint the engine bay!! Also put the back back together as well. Just have too many parts everywhere!! How's it going @Speedytech7 ?

I think it's going pretty good, really need to pressure test my fuel system and then I can throw the intake plenum back on and fire it up. I've changed every sensor and ignition component so good chance something won't work right haha

Well I figured out what was causing the pull of the wheel when braking..and why do some reason today my alignment was out.

Lca bushings are completely shot. The rear one in particular. So much regret on throwing out Frank's stock lcas..

Not sure what I'm gonna do yet
