I did the odometer reset which solved the seatbelt chime. Is there a method

to disable the open door chime when the ignition is "on" position...not running?

    Any help/leads appreciated....Thanks! "08 TRD 4x4 auto

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.

if you open your door there is a little black rubber thing attached to the cab. if you push it down the chime will go off, if you let go of it the chime will sound haha.

i think there is 2 screws that you can undo then im sure there is something you can unpulg. not sure if thats what he is talkin about but thats what i got from it

and yes it will keep your dome light from coming on when you open your door with a key. just use your clicker and it will come on.

LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
Has anyone done this and had problems with the immobilizer on the v6? That switch that you're unplugging also tells the immobilizer you have a key in the ignition. Does it take longer to start or anything?
