Ever been super early to something and had to just sit in a parking lot somewhere so you aren’t the weird guy 45 minutes early? I have.

I'm so glad there are others like me lol. One of my sisters is the kind that is late to everything, and she used to drive me to school in high school before I got my license and I literally wanted to kill her because she always made me late. I honestly preferred the school bus because it would get me there on time.

 

any HSV-illians want to go mountain biking at Monte Sano Saturday?

 

Sounds like a swell idea. Just can't go this weekend. Need to go in the near future though. The weather is getting nicer.

was it that trash company kbvoodoo that sold the bike mounts for the bedside? that would go under camper shells and stuff? I can't remember.

I honestly have to find a new way to carry my bike..

I might could be the cool kid that has his bike all the way on top and get him to build something detachable from the bedrack...I have one side of the rack with nothing on it though I think I'd rather use.

 

U-Bolts are your friend. Makes it "modular".

nah I'm good man, thanks though. I'm probably going to look at something more like this, but lower down near the top of the bed instead of top of the rack

 

how would you use the yakimas for that?

 

Google maps helped me a lot with this problem. Used to aim to be everywhere at least 15 mins early, but it's so accurate now I just aim for 5 minutes or so. On long trips I find going slightly faster than traffic actually results in arriving on estimated time despite a quick stop for gas or bathroom.

Major traffic usually doesn't cost much more time than that before a reroute sends you around for only a small delay. Has definitely saved me from missing at least a couple important flights.
