I took mine to M&M Tans and Tint in Lawrenceburg. It’s not very far from the exit. I’m very happy with the quality, and haven’t had any issues with it. The owner gives a discount if you pay in cash.

Edit: Cause mall crawler status19B6CB1A-A108-48CE-B645-04DAC2E0F229.jpgYou can see the tint on the front windows compared to the factory tint.

I think this is very bulb size dependent. My H4 bulbs will bounce occasionally over large, violent bumps, but not to the point that it bothers my OCD and I’m super crazy about things like that. For example, I ditched my first set of retrofit projectors with clear lenses because the cutoff lines didn’t match up perfectly and it drove me nuts. I now have OEM fresnel lenses that aren’t quite as sharp and make any cutoff discrepancy much less noticeable. And if the bouncing ever gets really bad, I’ll take the boot off the back of the headlight and see if I can get them secured in there a little better.

I came from the VW/Audi world and almost every car I had before I bought the Tacoma had OEM HIDs. I can’t stand the look of yellow halogens and I’ll put my retrofit HIDs up against any halogen setup for total light output and visibility on dark roads.

It all depends on the projector and the HID setup. The light output on my retrofit is worlds better than the stock TRD Sport halogen setup. I couldn’t imagine going back to stock headlights.

I may take you up on this offer @Cfout4050 when I do my front brake upgrade. I’m more than capable of doing the work myself but having an extra set of hands and a certified mechanic on site to make sure I don’t fuck anything up would be great. That and bleeding the brakes is much easier with two people and you probably have experience using TechStream to bleed the full system.

I’m totally down for a road trip in the Tacoma once I get all this new shit installed! I’ve never driven out west and would love to do it in my truck.

We tend to try to wheel somewhere about once a month when it's in season.

There are 'official' RRG meets in April and June, and we end up down there probably half a dozen other times a year.

As long as they’re not all four weeks apart, I’m sure a few of them will land on my free weekends.

I'm not sure where it is or the day it's on but if it's a weekend I'm pretty sure as of today anyway I can make it.
