    I did some stuff.
I’m just guessing on the price. The only thing I’ve had wrapped is the Leer shell on my truck and I had a buddy of mine do that who does it professionally. He said he would normally charge $500 to do a camper shell and probably $2500 to do my whole truck if I didn’t get the buddy discount.

You may get polarizing opinions on this, but one of those “dip your car” kits may be the move if you want ultra budget friendly. I’m gonna attempt to do it on my roommate’s car. It’s a beat up ‘04 Matrix so there’s not much to mess up. But a friend of a friend loaned up the dip sprayer/gun, so it should turn out pretty decent. 4 gallons to coat the car, should make a pretty thick layer.

I'll take the Coleman kitchen, but I won't be around Ft. Benning for a while. Shame, as I just passed by there Sunday. The closest I'll be is Kenessaw this Saturday. I'm over in Athens area.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Dude just Macco that mother. For like $250 (hood) your good, and done son.
Don’t wrap it with vinyl, trust me on that one. It will only be a couple years and oh will be messing with it again.
If your the DIY, sand that puppy down, tack cloth it, wipe it with acetone and spray 3 light coats. Keep your arm moving, stay 1.5 off the hood.
    Obviously take the good off.

I have used a lot of plastic dip. It’s very neat stuff, way better than a wrap IMO. And if you get a light scratch, just spray over it. Lays super flat.
My buddy did his racecar with it.

I think as long as you applied it correctly (watch all their videos, they explain it better than I can), it’ll hold up decently well. It’s not gonna be able to handle a rock to the face or anything, so don’t expect it to be as durable as your real paint. That said, I had a heavy layer on my wheels on the Taco, and they’ve held up for 7 years.

My roommate ordered the stuff to dip the whole car from here: https://www.dipyourcar.com/

Also, if that’s the route you wanna go, supposedly you can call them for your order and they’ll give you 15% off, which after adding a sprayer, should land you comfortably in the budget you mentioned earlier.

I’ll be doing it whenever my roommate finds a free weekend with good weather. I’ll be sure to post up what it ends up looking like. Full car will be like a dark OD green with black accent pieces.
