Can you just rebuild the shock? Most likely just need a new seal.

    Yes, I remember. Sad day....
I thought you were exploring other options, never mind me...

Idk where are you getting your wench and bumper, but you could check out @eccracer104 at AutoAnything.com Group Buys and Discounts if he can get you a better price:fingerscrossed:

Yeah... thanks for keeping your eyes out guys. Its a doublecab I'm looking for with the body parts (rocker panels), and the leaf springs off a 5ft. bed 4x4. That Craigslist one was neither.

Let me know how you like that Smittybilt, I’m about to buy one as soon as my Mobtown hybrid bumper is delivered.

So sometime this weekend I will officially get the truck up on stands in my garage for all the work I've been planning (save the rocker panel job). Struts, springs, control arms, ball joints, rusty floor holes, gas tank to fix the EVAP leak code, and leaf springs if I can find some. She'll be out of commission a few weeks at least while I get all that accomplished in my free time. Wish me luck. Here's the fender floor hole I prepped on Wednesday. Yeahhhhh I found a second hole in the floor and started the prep on that too.

I dunno if just my smittybuilt (9.5k with the synth line, not sure the exact model) but when you get that winch I would take it apart, clean all the factory grease out and regrease it. I have a hell of a time pulling rope in free spool. So much so that powering it out is easier.

Borrowing my father-in-law's Mig 125 Fluxcore Welder for this. Its all I got. Currently it has 0.035" wire in it but from what I read that's too thick to work with so I'll get 0.030". That's the smallest this little welder can accept (though a friend told me he prefers 0.024" wire for body jobs, yet he's working with gas mig equipment I think). This will be my first weld job.

    Thanks for the tag!

Happy to check what I can do  Of late Amazon has had the best price by far, sometimes even lower than our cost

    I just got one in 10k :D

Good to know. Thanks for the tip!
9.5 with synthetic line would be this gem -

I was sort of exploring other options but no one offers anything I felt wasn't going to get a whitetail through the center grill protection.

My mom just hit a deer in her expedition for 6k worth of damage.

I got the winch off Amazon at $555 for the 12k. Bumper from Autoanything, but ARB sets the price on them and no real discounts apply.
