    I wouldn’t really be worried riding on a 737 MAX since the problem is well known and publicized at this point. Was something about the MCAS Angle-of-Attack system reading incorrectly.

    Dad’s company truck. Actually, my Tacoma is an ex-fleet vehicle from the same company.

    When the local branch closed resulting from the NUMMI shutdown, dad offered to buy it from the CEO. CEO said “Keep it.” It’s a small Japanese company that does a very very niche line of work with Toyota, Tesla, GM, Mercedes, Ford, and all the other big players in the industry.

    FAA allows certain parts of the aircraft to be non-functional and still operate. That chunk missing could be intentional, or it could really be broken. Who knows.

    I’m not that worried. Plenty of other failsafes and components to substitute a single flap on the wing.

    I just did a quick Google search and found some articles saying over the wings is the safest and others saying the tail is the safest, I guess it really depends on how the plane crashes
