Yeah, we have 12 prinsu racks in stock right now for various vehicles, plus accessories. We're the only stocking dealer in Canada, so we try to have most of the popular options here. No wait times from us though! I just shipped out a no-drill full T4R rack today actually.

Update: my racks are finally level. It took a full inch to make them even. I don’t love the look but when I get the tent up there it probably won’t bother me as much. Thanks wessyder for the idea. I just used spray paint I had here so it’s a little gray but works for now!

I was the same way and could not find any damn info or tutorial on how to do it, ppl just say, yup wire it up and run the cable down the side of windshield.

For me I had to modify my brackets that came with the lightbar to properly mount to prinsu, they were too fat and needed some grinding. The lightbar had two wires, red/black, and you just connect them to the proper wiring harness, red/black.

I ran the wire down the windshield slit under the hood where my relay/fuse are bolted to inside of truck under hood near battery. You hook the wiring harness up to battery and ground portion of battery which also is bolted to side of truck under hood.

The wiring harness should have another lead that goes to your button/switch for lightbar. I ran that wire through the area where all the big fat wires are connected together and go thru the rubber piece thru the firewall and come out inside the truck up left to the brake pedal. Then depending on where you put your switch just pull that wire to that location and hook up switch.

I can attach pics later on what I did/mean later if need be.

EDIT - Rob above does have a solid write up and pics, basically same thing I did, his pics shows the locations etc.

It helps that my light bars came with wiring harness's that included the fuse, relay and switch. All I had to do was run the wires and connect everything. I added quick disconnects so I could remove the light bars easily if I needed to.

anyone know if the first gen of Prinsu topracs (the ones with mounting feet on the side rails) will fit a gen 2 Tacoma with Yakima tracks on an ARE shell?

EDIT: the toprac is for a gen 2 and is currently on a LEER shell with Thule tracks

    Hey guys,
I posted this up in 3rd gen but have yet to get a response:
I have a Leer XR (long bed) shell with factory rails.
Question on the prinsu toprack ( over a topper/ camper shell)

Can someone measure the distance from shell to the bottom of the crossbars? (at the feet/rails)

I want to know how high the rack sits off the shell. How low profile it is.

    Thank you for your help.

That's going to vary based on the brand and model of the shell and what style mounts they are using. More specific information about your setup will help you get the answer you are looking for. Try searching for someone with the shell you have and see if they have a build thread to ask the question in

    Got it, thanks.
I have a Leer XR shell with factory rails. Looking for measurements based on the feet that come standard with the purchase of a rack. I know they make a lower profile foot also, but want to get an idea starting with standard height.

Try searching Leer XR in the 3rd gen builds forum, there should be several with a Toprack installed on one. Message one of them that's active and you can likely get a quick response

    Thanks
