That's the idea I had, just make a mounting plate on the back of the tube that attaches to the rack with a set of u bolts so you can remove it/ move it around.

 

draw up what you're thinking, if possible, I like the idea of being able to move it..

 

I'll make a Solidworks model for you this evening with all my free time. Even do some stress analysis to validate my design. Need a report to go along with it so you know its tested and not Chinese?

lol I just feel like I've said it a lot. I feel handicapped while renovations occur.

hell if I know. I'm pissed at my electrician this week trying to get that solved. I assume 100% wrap-up will be like end of April, 1st week of May?

What size gears did you go to?

 

4.88

 

Still gives no one any idea of a time frame. Didn't you learn to be precise as an engineer with quantifiable answers instead of something vague that can be left for interpretation? Guess not.

 

I'm thinking about 4.30's. I never expect to go larger than a 33.
