Protection without increased width. As close to the body as possible is best as long as flex won't put it in contact with the body.

I have a single bolt bottom bolt, and it does flex under hi-lift but haven't had a problem. The newer design looks like it adds more bolts at the bottom for even more support.

Anyone know of any Washington State based companies building bolt-on sliders for the 3rd gen?

There's some people who do one offs but I don't think any actual companies making. A lot of shops who carry main brands and do installs if you're into that, otherwise you might ask around in the north west BS thread or the north west forum.

I picked up my BAMF 20* sliders from powdercoat yesterday. Black semi-gloss micro texture.

Seems like design of the exposed component doesn’t vary much among manufacturers. So the primary differences are how the sliders bolt or weld to the frame?

Got my RCI sliders installed this weekend. Directions not great and highly recommend a second set of hands. Kudos to anyone that did these by themselves.

what company sells the most affordable rock sliders?
I have a $ 550 budget in mind, fox 2.5 suspension left me on the broke side, however definitely need my sliders on asap.

Those look great. Are they the 20 degree or the 5 degree?

For those of you running sliders on the stock suspension, do you notice any difference in ride height, handling, etc. from the added weight?

So after looking at pictures of different sliders it seems like there's some variation in length and coverage. I was planning on getting a set of RCI's but after looking at OffroadAlliance's pictures, it looks like there is a substantial gap between the front wheel and the front of the slider. It looks like you could pretty easily smash that unprotected sheet metal. Is this a real practical concern or am I overthinking it? TIA

Thanks for the info, but what do you mean by "cab mount chop"?

So with no chop (I just have stock tires and wheels) it makes sense to go with sliders that go to just behind the front mudflap? Are the RCI's a little on the short side then?

Super excited! I'm the guinea pig for for RAGO Fabrications, 3rd gen DCLB sliders.(they already produce DCSB sliders) I was really impressed with their operation and the quality and workmanship of the their products. I will update you with some pictures when I get my truck back.

Depending on which ones you get they do a pretty good job of protecting against painchips from gravel being thrown up by tires and the errant car door from some inconsiderate asshole in the parkinglot.
