I get 15mpg average mixed. But I do have to gun it to get on the interstate and be slightly agressive each way to and from work. I have to drive like an (aware) asshole to prevent others from damaging my runner. AZ has the worst drivers.

I think we got high 20s in Colorado with only new Toyos, no lift. Got similar mileage in Utah with lift, armor, tires, more flat-ish cruising.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    I was averaging 22-23 in my 2.7. The 5.0 now I'm still getting 18-20.

As a recent eater of vegan tofu hot dogs, I can attest that this is, indeed, true. :(

It was a sad, sad day...

My wife has since agreed that we will not eat "food" that is pretending to be something else, and just eat real food for what it is.

    Agreed!

That is the key. Make food at home- from scratch. Try to buy foods without a "Nutritional Information" label; fresh food.

New front grill, finally one that ain’t broken in 3 places.
    Yipee!

    But ...
Found out the passenger fender & the mount for it behind the grill is all sorts of f-ed up.
I had to end up using a hammer & a crowbar (& rigging up new screw points in the fender square holes with stuff in my spare screws box)

Here goes (still needs the gap covers, which I seem to have misplaced):

(Note, the new emblem is an SC flag, made from Toyota truck logo elements- old & new)

    Yea, that's where I'm from.
It's pretty popular there, Michigan, Ohio.

The unfinished tunnel in Clemson is used to grow mushrooms & age cheese, as part of the agricultural programs at the university.
    (Stumphouse Tunnel)

It was the start of a train tunnel through the Appalacian/Smokey Mountains that didn’t get completed.

There's another huge growing facility over that way also. My buddy finds some around here called "chicken" something.
Says it tastes just like chicken meat.

So, we have this going on at work.
Apparently an engineer came in early about 3am last week. When he stepped out of his car, about 6 yotes surrounded him.

He was able to get back in his car and call our onsite fire dept to chase them off.

My buddy has some nite pics of a pack of 5 or so out where we park when he left work the other nite.
