link for a bed light?

my 17 tacoma bed lights one of them is flickering. Dont want to mess with the dealer Id rather just replace the light myself.

 

I think to get up into the 3rd brake light you need to pull the headliner down.

 

brake light? my tacoma has lights in the bed.

 

That is where the bed light is in my truck, Maybe you have some dealer installed lights or something

my bed autolocks too. im guessing thats aftermarket. lots of things starting to make sense now..

 

Could be a port installed option. If it's on the sticker, I'd make the dealer swap the light out. Otherwise you are out $80 or more to get the kit.

 

I bought it used but it looks professionally done so im guessing it was a dealer option, the bed locks as well with the key fob. So must have been some kinda of dealer upgrade because I would have never known it wasnt stock.

 

I'd start with the dealer. Maybe they'll cover it and save you 80 bucks. If not, the repair is pretty simple.
