    Heck ya this is dope

Now to take it 1 step further can you take that and incorporate the wire pass through from
I love these lights but with plans for a snug top and roof racks the flat antenna with wire pass through would be way legit

Here is my set up with the KC version. I love it and they look great!! I also swapped out to all black screws.

Install was easy once the old light was taken off. In my opinion that is the hard part! I am also have never pulled apart the back of roof headliner before.

Do you think it would just ve easier to bust out the OEM one instead of pulling down the headliner?

Stew - can you please provide one more revision :

Add a NMO mount to the low profile puck and provide a flat top (no ribs/text against ice buildup in winter ). All we need is space for the XM radio antenna (for traffic / weather). The FM/AM signal can be retrieved from the NMO antenna (+ some RF pass band filters ).

And for those that don't care about XM, they only need the FM (HD radio) feed for Weather / traffic. Makes it even simpler!

I just thought about something. Don’t NMO mounts need some metal mounting surface to properly ground? They usually have teeth on the bottom to bite into the mounting surface for proper grounding.

So to run one with good performance on one of these plastic brake lights we’d need a NGP NMO.

Correct. You would use a NGP antenna

You mean just hit it with a hammer and start pulling it apart from the outside in?

If you don’t want to mess with the headliner you could take a flat head and pry the lens off the stock light from the outside. Then drill the plastic in the 2 spots where the mounts are.done

Would you mind posting a shot from the back part of your truck so I could see it in relation to the whole tail?

keep in mind, this is version1. Baja changed their rock light size, so the new one is a little larger.
