So I have always wanted to know what this setup would look like. I’ve never been able to find 35s on the stock OR wheels, until tonight because I just got done mounting them.

This thread is for anyone else that might be curious.

    UPDATE:

    ——————————
    OLDER INFO:

Important: I purposely adjusted my UCAs to add a sketchy amount of camber so the tires would clear them. This was only to creep my way home from where I mounted the tires. This will be completely fixed when my wheel spacers come on Sunday. I won’t be driving the truck until then.

That will look really good when it's not walking around all bow-legged!

Also it's really nice to actually see a new thread pop up instead of page 183 of whateverthefuck.

Thank you for reading my disclaimer! I’m expecting a bunch of people to skip that part and call me an idiot, lol.

Love seeing the front and rear cut without new bumpers yet. Trying to see if I can pull that off. How much lift you running? 3.5” front 4” rear followed your sig.

Also just say the neg camber is for jumping.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
So, those are 315 75 16? If they are, I think the reason you dont see this often is because the factory wheel width isnt wide enough (7.5) to accommodate airing down these tires without running the very probable chance of popping a bead. The minimum recommended wheel width size ive seen is 8. the truck looks very nice, and I myself plan on running 35s. But just be careful airing down.

And it looks like only minor trimming required. Cool.
Seriously though that will look great when finished.

Looks good but coils are cranked wayyyy to high. I’d rather cut and keep it lower

    Will do.
That is correct for the lift.
You’re right about the wheel width, yeah.
Axles have been going strong like this for almost a year and a lot of absuse. But they will be coming down a bit on Sunday and I have a plan for if/when they bust.

The ride will get much better if you lower them. My truck used to look like that and I lowered it to about 2” and the ride increase was insane. No tire rub either

I am gonna lower them, but as far as nice ride goes, I’ll never know what that feels like. I ditched my sway bar about a year ago, lol.

@RelentlessFabrication high clearance with the taillight guards in the rear. Matching full bar bumper in the front.
