Had to Google Boudin, I know Boudin as the San Francisco Sourdough Bread Company. Didn't realize it was something else.

 

Beware though good boudin is hard to find. But when you do you’ll know.

It's a 4 banger to. V6 would have been even more

 

The MSRP is $19,517 in 2004. Accounting for inflation, that would be approximately $29,000 today. That means that truck has only depreciated $4,500 over 15 years if it was sold for $24,000.

I was gonna say, $24k doesn't sound unreasonable to me for that truck. But maybe I'm just trying to justify what I paid for mine lol.

But 11k miles...man that thing must have sat for a long ass time.

 

Or maybe it really is a “Grandpa drove it to the grocery store once a week” truck.

 

It's an old engine haha, first designed in 1982 and it's Japan's first mass produced V6. But yeah I do agree they looks dated, and they looked the same until 2004 when production stopped. The valve train is huge on this tiny engine so I think they're a space saving measure, they just barely fit around the rockers and valves. I could drop a couple Gs on some CNC reproductions of the GTP racing covers from Paul Newman's racing z31.

 

Pretty much every 1st gen buyer's wet dream

 

It's pretty nuts, it's worth a good chunk but that's too much for what's essentially a stripper model. It's been sitting too which is almost always worse than driven.

 

Mine was kind of like that, but it was driven four days out of the week an eight mile roundtrip as a company fleet vehicle. That’s why my truck only had roughly 70,000ish miles when I got it.
