Haha. Definitely not. It must be the pic. I saw that in the picture and had to check myself. It’s dead level and plumb. Anchors are retorqued every 30 days.

Installed a bedrack that I had made out of 3/16" plate and some 80/20 pieces. It's probably fine as-is but I have some gussets in the mail to keep them from twisting.

Glad to hear that. I have an Atlas two post as well, thanks for the reminder to re-torque the base plate anchor bolts.

    BTW nice Taco!

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Been there. I am getting used to these new trucks. Was stuck in a rut like that, was almost out when all the computers took over and slowed me down.
It has taken a bit of getting used to wheelin the taco, coming from an FJ80.

Yes I am kinda of an amateur when it comes to wheeling so I tried my best to un-stuck myself but couldn’t.

Tried 4 low and the locker. Couldn’t really get a good rock rocking with the manual. Tried turning the front wheels. Didn’t wanna beat to hard on it in 4 low. Then I realized I was turned in my rugs and trying to get over to much solid ground and just slipping.

Good thing my dad was close with his truck was able to yank me out.

Letting the air down in the tires helps a lot for traction in anything soft. Mud or Sand
    However...
you can’t ride on the road at speeds with under inflated tires, or they will heat up and blow the sidewall. So make sure you air back up before riding back home.

Also I like the Sup ;)
Just got rid of my ‘89 325i coupe with a cobra motor in it. Was quick

    Thank you.
yes I am familiar with airing down. My Friends have done it when we drive onto the beach to fish.

Sweet Porsche! I’m happy with the atlas. And the price was great especially if you go to the warehouse and pick it up yourself. I added the additional anchor plates for peace of mind:

The fox occupies the majority of lift time (que the ford jokes) because I’m in the middle of a full resto mod on it.

Gawd I remember wanting a fox body so so very bad in the 90s and probably for a few years after that too. I dunno what happened but I wound up with an Eclipse GSX (queue the wide range of jokes available here), but I still have a soft spot for that generation of Mustang.

I love that Year mustang, especially when it’s in a bmw ;)

Always though the 5.0 sounded the meanest. And always loved the drive ability of the German cars.

Did you just bend the plates with a brake or did you find some bent properly already?

I bought myself a 20 ton Harbor Freight press and Swag Offroad brake for my birthday. The brackets were drawn up in Creo and burned out by a family friend with an older plasma table. If you're looking to get into basic/hobby fab work I'd highly recommend the setup.

If anybody is interested in the design I can send you a DXF of the bracket.
