Both Lynn and I enjoyed it. That tour was on our first of 3 tasting days so at this point I can't remember why we opted for that one...but now I have a reason to open it and see.

If you go to Wild Turkey then I highly suggest stopping by Four Roses. They do tastings every 30 minutes. It only costs $5 for three samples and you keep the glass. It just a few miles from WT.

They also do tours every hour but it's easy in and out with the tasting.

    Awesome! Thanks for the tip.

I'll see if we can sneak Four Roses in there. I'd like to at least see their facility, even if I don't tour it.

If you get down to Bardstown, drop in to the Blind Pig Bourbon Bar and Speakeasy. It's a cool place to enjoy a drink.

Love me some of the Colonel. I have a bottle of the single barrel at home that is almost gone, need to pickup another one. Gas station in town has it for $65 a bottle... before the 20% WA State liquor tax :annoyed:

My local group did a single barrel private pick recently. Not my thing, but others liked it.

Haven’t seen a bottle of SiB Colonel since the fall. Mines getting low... would like to have a couple in reserve but sadly I don’t. The small batch is everywhere.

Anyone try the Oak and Eden Cabernet steeped? Price has me scared off. Did see it on sale for $49.99 at one location..

Everyone keeps talking about Colonel Taylor, so I picked up the last bottle on the shelf at a local store. Asked again about Eagle Rare and still no sight, but the owner said he had just gotten in a shipment of Legent (Fred Noe and Shinji Fukuyo collab), so I decided to grab a bottle before they were all out (not even on the shelves yet).

What did you have to pay for the Legent, if you don't mind me asking??

I've been getting 2 bottles of each standard release this year in anticipation of a night like this.

    Tonight I'm hosting a tasting of the 2018 Booker's line-up, including the 30th Anniversary!

So I’m pretty lucky to live in a neighborhood with restaurants and stuff within it, “The Larder” is across the street from my house and usually keeps a good whiskey selection. Picking up a to go order and what do I spy with my little eye...

Haha, yea. Don’t think I’ll be partaking in any sampling. Not if I want to be allowed back in the house by the wifey

I had a couple glasses of Anni's answer yesterday. This stuff if amazing. Even at 63% apv it is as smooth as silk. Do you have any opinions on the 2018 kitchen table release? I'm heading to buy a bottle now.
