Last I was on it was summer ‘18.

From Highway 69(? The one that comes out of westcliffe) to campsite 1.8, it was easily passable by my friends murano

Talked with my friend (CPW) who works the region and he said they have always graded it every few years but it doesn't take to long errode when we have good winter. So fingers crossed.

That's what I thought. In which case you may as well just say "I hate people" rather than dog owners. I mean, that's pretty much what happens to any trash can anywhere that gets full and isn't emptied, people keep throwing shit on top and letting it fall to the side. At least in that case those owners are bringing the shit back to the single collection point they expect to be there and available, unlike the others it sounds like who are just not even bothering and leaving it on the trail (possibly influenced by the can being full or bags not being available). Could/should they take it with them elsewhere? Sure. And people should bring the own bags in case they aren't available - looks like a pretty heavily used trail. But I'd call the agency responsible for the trail and let them know about the full can and empty bag box.

Okay, I drove it September of '18 and the first few miles were like a 2 lane Forest road. After that group of campsites on the east end it got a bit rougher. Some spots were a little off camber and a car with low clearance would have difficulty in some rutted out sections as you go through the canyon into the park. I didn't need skids or sliders but it wasn't graded by any means.

Just FYI for those still thinking of running the trail.

Oh that’s good to know. Thanks for the info.

We must have just hit it right after the grading. Because I was shocked at how mild it was.

My buddy just drove to Waco and saved 45percent on an enclosed trailer.

I'll probably be doing the same for a gooseneck later this year. Looking at CL/FB I can buy a clapped out gooseneck for $5k here or drive to east Texas or Oklahoma and pick up a new one for $6-7k

I said I hate crappy dog owners, I have no problem with responsibly dog owners. But I guess according to you it’s the cities fault for not emptying the trash cans during the winter which makes this acceptable for dog owners to keep piling on the poop instead of packing it out with them since they at least made an effort.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that Hector is gonna be running 3 Honda Civic's with spoon engines. On top of that he just came into Harry's and ordered 3 t66 turbo's with NOS's and a Motec System Exhaust.

I have thought to myself that that is probably going to be a common theme this summer.....
