    it was in the 70s for me today. thought about taking the trim panals off the truck inside, and painting them. but decided to play video games. esp since i took the dog to get groomed today so i needed the truck ready to go when they called.

    Went price shopping today for a new set of kicks in the truck. Everyone was ~897. Called this new place I pass by every morning and they quoted $895. I asked about road force balancing and they he said they could throw that in for free instead of the high speed balance. So I’d save $21.99. Told him ok I’ve got a few more places to call and I’d be in touch. He says I’d hate to lose your business over a few bucks. Tells me let him ask if he can get me a discount. Price dropped to $771 for 4 Nitto Terra Grapplers in 285/75/16. Asked about getting a alignment also with it and he said he could give me a coupon for $20 of making it $69. Got an appointment Tuesday morning to get the tires put on and alignment. :woot:

    Didn’t want to head out of town next week on worn tires.
