The pinion gets oil by sling effect, not oil bath method, should be fine

Thanks for the info, come to think of it, when I was replacing my pinion flange, when I removed the old one there was some oil seepage and that was up in the air. Probably am being a little over cautious.

If you are using a lift block you can buy blocks tapered already. My 1" has a 3 degree taper and can be installed in both sides in less than 5 minutes with a bottle jack and an impact gun .

For a single cab, I would get 885’s, I jumped the gun and put 886’s on mine when I bought my arb bumper and it was fucking horrible. I don’t have a winch but 100#s wasn’t going to change much

I got 884’s with my lift. I should have gone 885’s and they gave me maybe a little over an inch. Someday I’ll add a steel bumper and I’ll probably just be back to stock then.

Finally camped at a new spot, there are definitely some perks to living in HI, I forgot a tent, no shoes. No slippers (flip flops to mainlanders) and no jacket. Just laid a sleeping bag in my bed and I was good to go, never dropped below 70° and we found a spot behind a hill in the trees out of the wind

Double cardan shaft fixed the vibration problem, the truck also drives and accelerated like a finely tuned god damned sewing machine too. I legitimately could not be happier with the results.

I think mine are Trail Gear sliders but they were on the truck when I got it so I'm not 100% sure. They measure out to 58" which is what the Trail Gear are. Here's the passenger side looking from the rear.

The passenger side is pretty tight and it looks like there is about a 1/2" between the slider and the cab mount. It also looks like they had to beat the pinch weld a bit to clear the slider. It's mounted as far back as possible or the mounting flange would need to be trimmed to go back more since it's up against the crossmember. The driver's side has plenty of clearance all around. It could be where that front slider mounted was welded on the passenger side was a little farther back than it should have been.

Running 884s on 5100s and stock UCAs. Synthetic winch and aluminum bumper. Lost about 1/8” of lift.

You might be able to run 885s with that ARB bumper but might need new UCAs.

The Slee mount will not work. I bought one and had to return it. I put mine on the driver's side up by the firewall. I can take pics later, if you want.

My headlights are starting to do the clear coat peel looking almost cloudy crap sooooo...........doing some baking on 2 other sets I have to make a clear lens set. Taking the bezel from the retrofit ones with super yellow blinker lens and white side marker and unpainted parking bezel and putting them into my other black'd out halogen set. Tightened up the projector to reflector bowl to end the annoying jiggle hitting bumps that made me take them off to begin with - that and no 55w brights since brights on those = aiming the 35w low beam higher. Have all fresh ballasts/harness/ds2 bulbs for those as well since they didn't stay on truck long. That set will end up with black bezel with light yellow blinker lens/amber side reflector/black parking light bezel. Most likely will just swap in the halogens with clear side marker and super yellow blinker lens set with the philips xtremevision H4's. I have HID fogs so I like having 35w low and 55w brights just being halogen. Lots of time on my hands to get tedious with lights and there are side mirror blinkers to wire, route new CB antenna wire, replace whole front end since all parts on hand - Moog LCAs/SPC UCAs/bamatoy1997 new hubs and bearings/better coverage wheelwell splash guards from vendor here/new alignment adjusters for LCAs etc..............house projects are wrapping up so time for more truck love, lol.......................
