    Thanks!
I copied one that I found on the internet almost cut for cut (don't tell anyone; it's probably copyrighted...). It's just 1/4 veneer cuts set onto a plywood disc; much easier than trying to work with full-depth lumber, especially the scroll saw work on the letters.

    Sharp! Very Revolutionary/Voyaguer chic, lol

What you say makes sense, because it is how I feel about the quality of work performed. Prep work is the main reason how well finish work comes out.

    That was for Jeffb

How did you spray the leafs? I jacked up my truck till the leafs were off the ground, use fluid film with a straw attachment and sprayed in between every gap......no more squeak.....and mine was awful!

    Good morning all.

Bought a '14 Xterra for my daughter yesterday (yes, I know this is a Toyota site). Anyone have one of these or a Frontier? If so, what are the problems to keep an eye out on?

Kid has the newest car in the house... o_O

I know @tacobell007 has worked on a few. He may have some info. I think @Chasespeed has owned a frontier.

    I loved my Frontier.
Timing chain guides are a wear item....
And by then(14) shouldnt be any issues with the trans-cooler braze joints failing.
The VQ is a great engine, and the 5spd auto is very well sorted as well.

Timing chain guides wear and it starts ticking away from it, rot which hopefully isnt a huge issue since it is a 2014, the rear ends also tend to blow up. My buddy's brother's frontier had it happen, and his father's Titan also did. My other buddy caught it earlier enough in his Xterra, so it just needed a good cleaning and pinion bearings and races

Got my garage finally straightened up this weekend. Damn thing was out of plumb almost 2” in 6’! Pulled it back and got everything braced up, she’s solid now. Unfortunately, likely going to have to put a roof on it this Summer though, and replace some sheathing.
