Want cruise control?

 

Not sure if he has the stuff for cruise. I’ll be taking that out also

 

I don't have cruise. I'd like to, but I'm not sure I have the wiring for it either. But yeah, cruise would be nice if I ever manage to make it on one of these out of state trips.

Well, my front diff is headed to Raleigh, NC to get the 4.88s and the True Trac put in it. Wonder if I'll be getting it back next week or the month after?

You didn't actually characterize that so I don't know whether to say congrats or commiserate with ya. On the one hand, you might actually get some cool weather. On the other hand, the cost of living is probably more and it seems like the Carolinas get slammed with a lot more hurricanes than we do. Of course it's also a lot closer to those fun places to wheel that I never get to go to. If I could afford it, I'd probably pull up stakes and move to North GA or Tennessee, but my roots are too deep where I'm at for something like that.

We'll miss ya though. Hope you can make it to some of the Annual and Fall meets.

 

The Greenville area is pretty nice. I opened a center in Anderson, SC last year or the year before. There are a lot of TW folks out that way as well. Plus you'll be right down the road from SOS...

 

Greenville is a nice area I fly there every once in a while. State income tax is gonna suck tho but you'll be within a few hours of some good wheeling.

 

The cost should be fine I'll be making better money. I have a lot of equity in the sale of my house so a mortgage will cheaper because I should be able to put 20% down on a house. I estimated property tax and its right around 50% cheaper. Taking these into consideration I should be fine. The weather will be similar to Fl for the most part but with colder winters and a lot less humidity.I'll definitely be in touch and probably still come to the meets just so I can be entertain by Frank's drunk stories around the campfire.I'll miss all my friends from the FL and ill rock that FL Tacoma sticker in SC.

 

I'm not sure exactly where I will be living but the plant is in Piedmont which is like 20 mins outside of Greenville. It looks like Gulches ORV would be less than a hour and URE a lil over an hour away. I have to get some stuff taken care of first, but I'm getting a dedicated trail rig so I don't beat the shit out of my truck.

 

My neighbor bought a Jeep and wants to go off-roading. So I'm taking him and the kids up to Citrus this Saturday. We'll be there around 11 and I'll have the CB on channel 4 if you're out there.

I could probably use the stress relief, but the OGT is so nerfed right now it'd probably be more frustrating than fun and I really don't want to wheel Natty again until she gets her sliders. But who knows, maybe I'll decide to throw caution to the wind and make an appearance.

Guess I just added to my chore list today. Was going to just wash clothes and vacuum and then try to force myself to go out and change Natty's oil. Now it looks like I might have to add tuning her new antenna as well. I'll let you know something Friday evening or Saturday morning.
