Hey folks! I'm a total newb with Tacoma's except for wistful thinking of doing cool stuff like the YouTube folks. New to off roading, pretty much starting from scratch. I'm starting to see the forest from the trees because of this forum so I thought I'd pile in.

Why now? Because in the past week I've been the fortunate soul who had 2 tacos, one my own and then a dealer rental, that had their wiring harness destroyed by squirrel(s?). 3rd gen owners beware, the corner closet to the driver is a squirrel resort waiting to happen. Or else we just have jerk squirrels here in Wisconsin.

Thanks for being a place for rookies like me to get some good info, often with a dose of humor. I look forward to using the search feature to find all my answers!

I should post a little something about...i dunno, my truck?

'17 TRD OR, stock. New wiring harness. Interested in ultra-light overlanding...if that's a thing?

I'm a canoe paddler and hammock hanger. Looking to explore more of the great outdoors with style.
