Looks like you have your mind made up on what you want but, if you're interested, or anyone else for that matter, there's a group buy going on right now for Kings. These are the options currently.

    700lb springs
Ext. Front & std rear w/ adjusters
Ext. Front & std rear no adjusters

    600lb springs
Ext. Front & std rear w/ adjusters
Ext. Front & std rear no adjusters

You'd have to ask. They've been having problems with people bailing out, so they might be open to some extra options. Hit up rowan11b and gary86 and ask em.

Heh, sorry. I don't want to hijack this thread too much just for the group buy, so if anyone has any more questions about it, we should probably post in the other thread...

Yeah you don’t need relocation kit. The extended rears, same as the front, is just removing an internal part that allows for an additional inch of travel. I have it on mine, mounts the same as stock and only an Icon progressive 3 AAL.

That's incorrect. The extended version of the rear King 2.5 shocks does NOT require shock relocation, extended brake lines, etc. That bad info is one of the reasons I backed out of the GB.

Hell, a tech from Wheelers told me that they don't even stock the non-extended version any more. There's no point.

Is there any potential issues running ext travel rear with right under 2”. I’m doing icon rxt in the rear.

Like I won’t damage the ext travel rear by not having enough rear lift will I?

I was told by Kings 0-2 standard so if your going with ext, you might bottom out the shock. Make sense?
For now,I'm going with standard with Icon AAL

Probably option one, but maybe 2.
Icon says option 1 is right under 2” after settling and option 2 is right above 2”.
If it’s the same shock just with a spacer removed to get more droop, how can it bottom out from up travel? Seems like up travel would be the same standard or ext, only droop is changed. Or am I completely wrong on that?

Did you maybe crank down the hose clamps way too much causing too much pressure on the resi bodies?

How much preload do you have? I literally was gonna pull the trigger on 650s but really don’t want the stiffness

Conceptually that’s what I thought too that it only affected droop and same up travel as standard. Could be wrong, that’s why I upgraded my rear bump stops to Timbrens so it protects it from bottoming out plus it feels better so win win
