Mine was too. Then I realized a college kid is in no place to be dropping that much coin on a vehicle I will most certainly not be driving for the rest of my life. So I bought a bike as a new cheaper hobby and made my new years resolution thingy to not spend any more than whats necessary on the truck. So far so good. Only expense I see coming is replacing my cheap add a leafs with wheelers ones to eliminate the sqeaking issue once and for all. (4th try is the charm).

 

you sure it's coming from the leafs and not the bushings?

Certain. The Low Range add a leafs dont come with anti squeak pads. That teflon liner I put in between them and the rest of the pack worked miracles until it ripped. I called Josh at wheelers a few months back, he said theyve had no complaints regarding squeaks with their AAL's. And, it will drop my rear about a half inch or so, which should make it more level looking.

Ah yeah that makes sense then, seems most noises come from the bushings but if you don't have those little teflon pads between the leafs then they'll squeak. One side of my Expos is missing a couple and they squeak there.

 

It has a welder stuffed in there and on board air. I dig it. Time to sell the sequoia for a tundra.

I dropped prolly $700 on a tig/stick setup. Used it to build my sliders a year ago, then havent really touched it lol. Welding truck stuff is so much easier at work during lunch breaks and after hours. Its how I built my bumper.

 

for sure, I'd love to have that setup just not the way it's designed with the bedsides that flip up
