What did you use to bolt the new housing in place (rivnut, clip-nut, etc).

 

If he used what I include, it’s a threaded “fairing clip” that slips over the stock metal of the cab. It can be removed if you ever decide to go back to stock.(doubtful)

 

That's what I was guna use too. Those sheet metal U-tab lookin things.

Yup! I used the hardware you included (thank you!), and also purchased neoprene washers, additional 1/4 washers, lock washers and m6 nuts for the 3 inside lights.

 

What method did you use to remove the foam adhesive?

 

I just finished these not to long ago.

I just seen these and would look nice in place of the ones I have. When will these be available?

 

I rubbed it up with my finger and then used GooGone to clean the residue. For me, I cleaned after with rubbing alcohol and followed up with car wash soap/water.

Yeah pretty much the same. Scraped the foam off then took goo gone to it til it was gone.

 

Where did you get the center black cap covers?

 

Its not a cover. Its paint, i think

 

All the people that previously had their headliner trashed because of the notorious third brake light leak now have to watch everyone destroy their good OEM third brake light

Stew ships the KC housings with center caps for the cyclone lights.

 

@mesojdm I know the KC housing has a seal but do I need to add anything else to make it water tight?

 

Ahh I see, thanks! That's cool Meso hooks it up and provides the center caps, it makes the lights look even more bad ass.

 

whats the cost on the 5 KC lights ?
