I tried but the wife was still there afterwards. I even told her to hold on.

Can’t really tell that it does anything to be honest. Noticed it this morning doing the vsc kill switch mod

@Barhopper I had something similar on my old truck it was to manually enable/disable and aftermarket alarm if I didn’t have the key fob.

Gotcha. I was kinda hoping some cool “bond” type gadgets were gonna pop out. But I was let down.

Maybe the previous owner had it wired so you had to hold that down before you could start the truck then disconnected it.

It’s still tied in to a cluster of wires. Probably an alarm switch. Or at least I’m gonna go with that. Lol

Yes it does and I’ve said it’s weird. Beeps once when you lock it and twice when you unlock it. Wish I could make it stop. Kinda annoying early in the morning unlocking it.

If your truck works I'd leave it alone. I had a old s10 when I was a kid I pulled a old alarm wire out of. The only way I could get the truck to start was by disconnecting the battery and re connecting every time I wanted to start the truck. If I tried to start it with out doing that the alarm would go nuts.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. It's a 9 year old truck

Oh yeah it’s staying. Just wondering what it might be. I was kinda hoping someone had already done the vsc mod. Lol
